Metro Boomin has been called out by Drake fans, who seem upset by the super-producer energizing rumors of his former collaborator being a “pedophile.”
In a series of resurfaced tweets that went viral on Tuesday (April 7), tweets of questionable origin by the beatmaker — including one that read “I’ll beat the charge” referring to a 13-year-old girl and another that read “all the loose and easy pussy in Saint Louis Missouri and you tryna sodomize somebody’s grandma…nahhhhhhh” — began making the rounds online, to point out that the person behind them is no better than Drizzy when it comes to conduct.

It’s is worth noting, however, that these tweets plus many others were written in 2011, when the now 30-year-old artist was only 17-years-old, and thus, not a legal adult himself.

The back-and-forth between the pair isn’t surprising considering Metro Boomin and his longtime collaborator Future made it clear that were no longer cool with The 6 God back in March.
After hearing Kendrick Lamar‘s scathing guest verse on the new track “Like That,” which seemed directly aimed at Drizzy and his “First Person Shooter” collaborator J. Cole, fans across social media began wondering what it might mean for the Canadian superstar and Future.
The two have worked together a number of hits throughout their careers and even co-headlined the Summer Sixteen Tour in 2016 following the release of their joint mixtape, What A Time To Be Alive.
Many believe that the fallout was caused by a woman both men may have been involved with.

The verse in question features the Atlanta native rap: “You a n-gga No.1 fan, dog/ Sneak dissin’, I don’t understand, dog/ Pillowtalkin’, actin’ like a fed, dog/ I don’t need another fake friend, dog/ Can’t be ’bout a ho, ’cause we sharin’, dog/ In yo feelings, n-gga, why you playin’, dog?”
As listeners began dissecting what they believe to be a pretty clear narrative — the general consensus being that Drake may have shared something with a lover that made its way back to Future — other eagle-eyed social-media users noticed that Metro unfollowed his “Knife Talk” collaborator on Instagram.

Metro, however, refuted the claims at the time and wrote: “Yall n-ggas stop making stuff up for engagement and enjoy the music.”
It it still unclear if Metro was denying that Drake and Future are beefing or that their apparent falling out is over a woman.
