Latto has come to the defense of her father after he received much criticism online because of the age gap between her parents.
The controversy erupted after the “Big Energy” rapper posted a picture of her mother at 15 years old, shortly after she gave birth to her.

A post then went viral claiming that Latto’s father was 23 at the time.
“Latto shared a photo of her as an infant being held by her mother with a caption that said, ‘My mama 15yr old fast a** w me,'” the post read.

Latto hit back by saying: “My parents are 3 yrs apart lol.”

The age gap between her parents has been referenced before.
When Latto was beefing with Nicki Minaj in late 2022, the “Anaconda” rapper used it as ammunition in their Twitter spat.

Seemingly offering proof of the large age gap between her parents, Nicki wrote: “Scratch off getcho dumb ass to the mic RIGHT NOW!!!! Explain this shit!!!! Latto later responded: “Loud & wrong again…They was both teenagers in high school bookie they still married lmao.”
The Atlanta native had earlier said of Nicki: “BEEN subbing… super freaky grandma is married AND related to fucking rapists. You ain’t gone bully me BITCH! My idol turned rival now u hating,” referencing Minaj’s brother being imprisoned for child rape and her husband Kenneth Petty’s conviction for attempted rape.
The Young Money hitmaker then accused Latto of hypocrisy for working with Kodak Black and Dr. Luke, who have both been accused of rape.
